The Evil Within Release Date Delayed

In what is another next generation delay - horror game The Evil Within has had its launch date delayed until October! The game will be released in North America on October 21st and October 24th in Europe. The game's launch has been made to allow the development team more time to make further balance changes to the game.

The game is being developed by Resident Evil creator Shinji Mikami and his team at Tango Gameworks. The Evil Within will be published by Bethesda Softworks. Shinji has described the game as a return to the roots of the survival horror genre.

The Evil Within was previously scheduled to launch in August for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4.
