Uncharted 4 Reveal Coming Soon

Naughty Dog looks set to showcase more of the eagerly anticipated Uncharted 4: A Thief's End. Studio co-president Evan Wells told GameCrate: "It's coming along nicely. We've been hard at work since E3 and all I can say is that we'll be having some stuff to show you very soon." The PS4 game stars an older Nathan Drake who has been out of the fortune hunting game for several years. Forced back into the world of thieves, he sets out on a globetrotting adventure in pursuit of a historical conspiracy behind a fabled pirate treasure.

Uncharted 4: A Thief's End is set for release some time in 2015.

The Last of Us PS4 Has Vastly Improved Graphics

Naughty Dog has claimed that The Last of Us Remastered will visually outweigh the original with 'cut scene-quality character models'. You may not know this but the original game used many tricks constantly switching from highly detailed character to models to lower-res versions in another shot and the director Neil Druckmann says the PlayStation 4 can run the assets at full resolution all the time.

Druckmann said "We don't build it with high assets in mind to then port it, but it did give us a leg up, If we hadn't done that, we might not have made the call to bring it over to PS4." the team also looked to make other parts of the game look better such as enemies where close up they looked a little burred. "It may sound relatively simple, but moving the PS3-perfected game over to PS4's significantly different PC architecture is an ongoing struggle. Our cinematics are now running at 1080p and 60fps, and that involved rendering them all from scratch. It's interesting that now [instead of a technical bottleneck], the bottleneck is 'Can we fit all this on the disc?"

Druckmann also goes on to say The Last of Us Remastered is a straightforward port at the moment, and that he is considering taking advantage of PS4's improved triggers and touchpad. Though there may be a few tweaks here or there, he would ultimately like to just bring it over to the PS4 and get a more solid version of the same experience.

The Remastered Last of Us will feature all the DLC packs included in the Season Pass.

The Last of Us Remastered trailer revealed

The first trailer for The Last of Us Remastered showcases a small look at the PS4's visually refined world. The trailer mentions every accolade that The Last of Us achieved before showing one of the finer moments between Ellie and Joel.

The PlayStation 4 version of The Last of Us is promising many improvement's over the PlayStation 3 release from most notably the promise of the frame rate going from 30fps to 60fps.

Naughty Dog co-president Evan Wells had this to say in an interview:
"The graphical fidelity has been turned up to 11, we've got 1080p, we're pushing the draw distances further, we're creating higher resolution character models, better lighting, better shadows."

Nothing has been confirmed thus far by Sony however the screenshot does look legit and if the conversion is anything to go by then the DLC will be priced at just over £9.00. Left Behind will be a prequel which explores the relationship between the two girls as we hear a bit about Ellie's experience at the quarantine boarding school, with Riley serving as a mentor.
