GTA V Patch Problems

Rockstar has said that it is working on fixing an error where by the latest patch cannot be downloaded. Users who are getting the
"CE-32937-4” error code should try to download again later, as it may just be a regional issue.

"We are currently addressing this issue with a patch for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3 users," it reads. "This patch is available for download, but may not be available in your region for the next few hours. If you attempt to download the patch and see a 'CE-32937-4' error, please attempt to download the patch again later today. This issue will be addressed for Xbox One and Xbox 360 users by tomorrow. GTA 5's PS4 Day-One Update Is 1.14 GB

Grand Theft Auto V is now out next gen and from day one there will be an update. The update weighs in at just under 1.2GB and will introduce tweaks and optimization to the open world game play. This of course is on top of the 44GB install. GTA V will feature better visuals, increased draw distances, denser crowds, and new wildlife. It also packs in a first-person mode, which changes the way you see Los Santos and Blaine County in a significant way. Check out the official PlayStation 4 and Xbox One trailer below:

GTV Exclusive PS4 Features Revealed

The PlayStation 4 version of Grand Theft Auto V will include its own
exclusive functionality in the form of special DualShock 4 features.Gizmodo recently got to play the game and the features what they saw are listed below:

Access GTA Online's interaction menu by holding the DualShock 4's touch-pad
Phone calls and police radio sounds will emit from the DualShock 4's speaker
Swipe the touch-pad up or down to change weapons
Swipe the touch-pad left or right to change the radio station
The DualShock 4 light bar will flash red and blue when you have a Wanted level

I think its safe to say the Xbox One and PC versions wont feature this for the obvious reasons.
Another new confirmed this week is first person mode which looks mouth watering. This new way to play, available with a single button press, lets you see the world of Los Santos and Blaine County from an entirely new perspective which will have a major impact on the game according to Rockstar.

Grand Theft Auto V Micro-transactions

With rumors emerging of possible micro-transactions in GTAV online, with mixed reception, today those rumors can be put to rest with confirmation from Rock Star.

In a post on Rockstar Newswire, it is confirmed that you can purchase in-game money in GTA online in exchange for your hard earned real world cash. For those fearing that this will lead to a pay to win system, it was also stated that the micro-transactions will only allow those who partake to gain items quicker, 'You don’t have to spend real money to attain the cars, guns, clothes, flash and style of a high-roller in Los Santos, but can if you wish to get them a little quicker'.

The newswire also gave details on reputation, which is earned through everything you do in GTA online. The higher your reputation, the more features are unlocked such as weapons and contacts, think of it as a level system, and reputation can not be bought, it has to be earned.

Sounds fair enough to me, that if someone does not have the time or patience to earn in game cash they can spend their real life money, but that everyone else who does not want to spend their own money can still earn all the same items, just a little slower, and that everyone has to earn and build up reputation to unlock features.

Grand Theft Auto V makes $800 million in 24 hours

Grand Theft Auto V is officially the fastest selling game of all time grossing $800 million in 24 hours. GTA V is much closer to the $1 billion range than any other game in history including Call of Duty Black Ops 2 which reached $1 billion in just 15 days. COD managed only $500 million on day one so unless sales drop off which then GTA V is on course to becoming the best selling game of all time. With GTA V cosing $260/£170 million to make Rockstar are looking at staggering profit margins.
