Rocksteady have announced a new Batman game titled Arkham Knight and according to US retail giant GameStop, Batman: Arkham Knight launches in North America on 14th October 2014. That's a Tuesday whereas the UK may have to wait till the Friday, 17th October.
Game Informer has revealed the first details of the game "An entirely new area of Gotham City, far larger than Arkham City, has much wider streets to accommodate the new driving gameplay that is designed to integrate smoothly with Batman's gliding and grappling traversal. Batman chases down super villains Scarecrow, Penguin, Two-Face, Harley Quinn, and more." Arkham Knight will allow players to get behind the Batmobile for the first time. The game will be set some time after the events of Arkham City and maybe the last game Rocksteady work on.
A listing appeared on GAME earlier and this is what it say's: " Arkham Knight is the "explosive finale" to the Arkham series, and sees return to face "the ultimate threat against the city he is sworn to protect. The Scarecrow returns to unite an impressive roster of super villains, including Penguin, Two-Face and Harley Quinn, to destroy The Dark Knight forever."
