Bethesda has confirmed today that the Elder Scrolls Online has been delayed for the Xbox One and PS4.
The MMO based on the popular Elder Scrolls games will be delayed for possibly six months. On a blog post, the reason behind the delay has been put to integration with each consoles server systems, 'Integrating our
systems with each console manufacturer’s networks—which are both different
from the PC/Mac system as well as different from each other—has been a
challenging process'.
The Elder Scrolls online is out now for PC and Mac. Because of the delay, Bethesda is offering a special deal for those that purchase the game on those platforms before the end of June. Those that do can transfer their characters to a Xbox One or PS4 version upon release for free.
