Deus Ex: Universe announced

Deus Ex fans be excited, for a new game, or possibly games, is on the way. Announced today by Eidos Montreal, Deus Ex: Universe is a new announcement that is set to contain a connected and expanding world that will be set across a series of games.

Universe is looking like the collective name for a new series of Deus Ex games then, 'It’s a commitment on our part to deliver meaningful content that expands the franchise on a regular basis and to deliver a deep conspiracy that will span several connected Deus Ex games'. With a rich world to take from and the power of next gen, this could be an interesting one to watch, but personally the promise of an expanding world is what make this stand out to me, especially if its a world I want to delve into and stay in.

Deus Ex: Universe is in production for PC, Xbox One and PS4, but with games and other media also being promised such as a game for smartphones or a graphic novel for example.

Take a look at the first concept art image released below, showing A 'trans-humanism segregation', an environment in which the different classes of people are separated. The game is in early development so it might be a while before more is shown off.
